PROLEGOMENON

Sofia Suaviter (not to be confused with Bomber) is a young human living in UV-00282 Guåhan.

Bud has messy, wild light brown/dirty blonde hair stuck in recovery from a botched side-shave, freckles, brown eyes, and light skin. Bud has a sharp jawline and a Band-Aid across the bridge of bud's nose frequently, though whether this is a style choice or not is unknown. Bud is usually wearing a dark green flannel, a darker gray T-shirt, black skinny jeans, and big green sneakers.

Harkening to old Internet, bud's screen name is 'xXxcookienomz74xXx'. Bud's icon is a green paintbrush, and bud commonly types with a very casual tone, occasionally breaking into roleplay.

In December of 2020, Sofia's brother turns 23, and the festivities turn into the events of PROLEGOMENON. Sofia impulsively decides to launch SEED before anybody can dissuade bud from it, despite Diego's instructions.

PERSONALITY

Sofia is a creative, a fact that's stated about bud prior to bud's introduction (during Roy Miller's gift hunt in Episode 1). Bud focuses mostly on digital art, drawing both humans and furries, and takes Internet commissions to have some extra money coming into the house. Bud also produces music, collaborating with Amada Trejo to make sounds nobody really wants to listen to. Sofia is stubborn and runs to the beat of bud's own drum, regardless of the opinions or input of those around bud, and only a few are able to reel bud in from bud's impulsiveness.

Bud owns a sparkledogs trading empire on a niche original character trading forum, holding the economy in a stranglehold due to an early investment into a custom species nearly ten years ago. Bud isn't much of a gamer, though bud enjoys roleplay deeply, which extends to tabletop roleplaying games. When Sofia does play games, it's mostly sandbox simulators, in which bud creates monstrosities.

TIMELINE

In November of 2000, Sofia is born as the second child to bud's mother and seventh to bud's father. Shortly after bud turns old enough to attend school, bud's father moved the family to Guåhan, chasing a contract with the U.S. military stationed there. When the contract falls through a year later, Cane leaves his family in Guåhan and flies back to the United States, essentially abandoning them - withdrawing all finances and leaving them stuck and unable to leave the island.

The Internet is the only place for a young Sofia to turn to, and when bud turns 9, bud is introduced to the world of furry forums and roleplay. Bud is obsessed, and this is where bud meets an online troll named Rhett Miller from New York. Bud's immediately interested in talking to him, as that's where bud's father went when he left, but as time goes on Sofia and Rhett become close friends. Not long after, Sofia would meet Amada on the same forum too, and the three would be thick as thieves.

As time progresses, Sofia's mother grows sicker and sicker, and the two children pick up the slack by getting jobs to try to keep the lights on. Sofia starts doing art commissions at the insistence of a friend, which brings in a sizable chunk of change - not enough to save bud's mother, though. She passes when Sofia is only 18, leaving the house dreary and quiet, and Sofia throws budself into bud's art and roleplay online with bud's friends across the planet. Impulsively, bud spends bud's savings to fly out to Texas and visit Amada to escape from the house for a while, where bud grows a crush on Amada.

RELATIONSHIPS

Diego is Sofia's older brother. Bud cannot understand how the two are related, and feels like they could not be further apart. After their mother's death, bud felt iced out from Diego's life, which the two are still working around to this day. Ultimately, bud feels that Diego doesn't try to understand where bud is coming from, and that it doesn't support bud.

After the events of Episode 3, Sofia completely cuts Diego off and avoids talking to it, assuming it was on Yua Matsuo's side about the disagreement. This weighs heavily on bud, though the two aren't given the opportunity to make up before the end of PROLEGOMENON.

The two have known each other longer than anybody else in the group has known each other - except for family or family friends - and are the core of the group, though they don't acknowledge it. Sofia trusts Rhett with bud's whole heart, and he is one of the few people in the world bud will actually listen to.

When Sofia's planning bud's bomb attack during Episode 3, Rhett is one of bud's co-conspirators, showing how much bud trusts him. Bud only apologizes to him at the end of PROLEGOMENON.

After Sofia's mother passed, bud spent bud's savings to visit Amada in real life, taking her to Six Flags on what may or may not have been a date. Bud cares about Amada, though bud isn't sure how to show it - bud sees Amada as delicate in some way, something not to startle away, and bud only knows how to be noisy.

Sofia and Amada start a romantic relationship during the events of Episode 3, though Sofia isn't much of a romantic. Bud appreciates having Amada by bud's side, and bud even tries to curb bud's impulsive plans for Amada's sake during the later episodes.

Sofia didn't know Yua well prior to the start of the events of PROLEGOMENON, though bud found some interest in her videos she makes about video games online.

After Yua kills Sofia during the events of Episode 3, Sofia spends a lot more time arguing with her, and directly splits the group over what happened during that episode. Yua's actions are what prompt Sofia to let Plut in to the session.

Sofia's jovial with all the other members of bud's team, though bud cannot be budged about bud's opinions, and isn't hesitant to speak openly about how bud feels about events and situations in PROLEGOMENON. Bud butts heads with other players due to this.

TRIVIA

While Sofia has assigned budself a river otter for a fursona, bud would truly be a tiger.
