AMADA TREJO

Amada Trejo (not to be confused with Cupid) is a young human woman living in UV-00282 Texas.

Her hair is long, red, and curly, usually matching in color with her outfits. She has soft brown eyes, which she uses a great deal of mascara on when she has to leave her apartment. Amada has medium-brown skin and freckles, with carefully plucked eyebrows and a broad, flat nose. While her fashion sense causes her to change looks often, she begins the adventure in a pink-red hoodie with striped white-and-red sleeves, a dark red miniskirt, and white stockings.

She types with a number of abbreviations and shortcuts, though not as severely as Cherry tends to. Her screen name is 'TENGO GRAN GAY', and her icon is a red cupid arrow.

In December of 2020, Amada finishes designing a game with Cherry Thaxton as a gift for their mutual friend, Diego Suaviter. Roy Miller, another player, launches his game early and causes the events of PROLEGOMENON.

PERSONALITY

The first trait observable in Amada is that she's playful, albeit a little shy when it comes to being sincere. She's introduced as fun-loving and goofy, but also a worrywart, somebody who tries to look out for her friends before they hurt themselves. She dislikes arguments and will generally agree with the people she looks up to, especially Sofia Suaviter. Most of her interactions are either silly or awkward, and she appears to struggle quite a bit with expressing herself on a genuine level, or showing that she cares about the people she loves, playing these off as jokes.

Amada enjoys fashion and dressing up, particularly leaning towards reds and pinks in her wardrobe's colors. In her free time, she enjoys making new outfit designs, though she doesn't share these with anybody. Programming is another skill of hers, as she worked with Cherry on designing the SEED game, and Cherry finding her programming skills somewhat impressive. She also spends some time roleplaying, especially with Sofia, which is how she was introduced to the group in the first place.

TIMELINE

Pre-PROLEGOMENON

Born in June 2000, Amada was sent home with her parents but mostly raised by her grandfather, as her father worked and her mother was attending higher education when she was born. It's clear she was unplanned for - there's no world in which somebody would want a baby on top of moving to a new place and starting a new job and new degree - but her family loves her all the same, and ensure she knows they cherish her.

At some point in 2010, Julio - Amada's cousin - invites her to a TTRPG campaign he's running, which crashes and burns pretty quickly. Amada doesn't find much interest in the numbers side of the game, but she loves the roleplay, and goes online to find more. It's here that she meets Sofia and Rhett Miller, and the three become close friends. Five years later, Amada and Aldrich Montgomery would briefly date before amicably splitting up in 2018 and remaining good friends.

It's somewhere around this time that Sofia flies out to visit Amada by surprise, and Amada falls hard for Sofia.

Sofia Suaviter

The two are very close, and Amada thinks the world of Sofia. When the story begins, it's already clear that Amada has a large crush on bud, which leads her to follow Sofia almost blindly. She trusts bud and, despite being too shy to act on her feelings, only wants the best for bud.

Cherry Thaxton

Cherry and Amada worked on compiling the code of SEED together. It's never shown how well they worked together, but the two are good friends, playfully teasing each other about their respective crushes in the friend group. Amada admires Cherry's passion and boldness, wishing she could be as noisy as Cherry sometimes.

Aldrich Montgomery

Amada and Aldrich grew close enough to be involved in a short romantic relationship that lasted around three years. The two broke up amicably, and remain good friends to this day, supporting each other through the struggles they experience in SEED.

Julio Diaz

They share a grandfather, who is the same guardian that babysat Amada during her upbringing. The two seem to have been friendly enough to invite each other to their different hobbies, as Julio is the reason Amada was introduced to roleplaying - and to Sofia, forming the friend group that centers in PROLEGOMENON.

They're matching screen names in Amity, as Julio's is 'TENGO POCO GAY'.

TRIVIA

Amada and Julio's screen names are an inside joke I used to have with a friend.

She has a TTRPG character she plays named Lovebug. Someday I'll give her an official sheet... in Pathfinder.

Most Proto-legomenon content features Amada, as she was the most popular character (prior to Cherry's introduction. This is also why the two are friends in-universe!).
